To configure your ZTE device, you will need a computer (to access the web based configuration).
- Connect the yellow Ethernet cable provided to one of the ports marked ‘LAN’ at the back of the H298.
- Connect the other end of the yellow Ethernet cable to your computer.
- Wait approximately 30 seconds for the connection to establish.
- Open your Web browser, and enter http://192.168.20.1 into the address bar and press enter.
- Enter the default router logins to go in to the modem interface page:
• Username = admin
• Password = admin
- Click the VoIP from top menu:
- Select “Basic” from the left-hand side menu which will take you to below page.
- Fill in the fields as detailed below
(as provided in your activation email and in the Device Settings page of the User Portal):
• SIP Account = SIP Username
• Authorization Username = SIP Username
• Password = SIP Password
- Click on Apply.
- Click on SIP Protocol option on left-hand side menu.
Please make sure the fields are filled as per below details:
• Local port = 55060
• Primary proxy server = SIP Server
(as provided in your activation email and in the Device Settings page of the User Portal)
• Primary outbound proxy server : SIP Server
(as provided in your activation email and in the Device Settings page of the User Portal)
• Primary proxy port = 5060
• Secondary proxy server =
• Secondary outbound proxy server =
• Secondary proxy port = 5060
• Register Expires = 1800
• Unregister on reboot = off
• Link Test = Off
• Link Test Travel = 20
- Click Apply.
- Congratulations, your done!
