To configure your AudioCodes MP-11x device, you will need a computer (to access the web based configuration).

Note: AudioCodes devices are some of the most complicated to configure.

  1. Connect to your AudioCodes device.

  2. On the left, under the tab "Configuration", click on “Full”.
    Then, select:
    – "VoIP"
         – "SIP Definitions"
              – "Proxy & Registration"

  3. Enter the following data
    (as provided in your activation email and in the Device Settings page of the User Portal):
    - Always User Proxy: Enable
    - Enable Registration: Enable
    - Registrar Name: VoIPMuch
    - Registrar IP Address: [SIP Server]
    - Subscription Mode: Per Endpoint
    - Registration Mode: Per Endpoint
  4. Click Submit.

  5. On the left, under the tab "Configuration", click on “Full”.
    Then, select:
    – "VoIP"
         – "SIP Definitions"
              – "General Parameters"

  6. Enter the following data
    - NAT IP Address: [if your hardware is behind NAT, then specify your external IP address]
    - Fax Signaling Method: T.38 Relay
    - SIP UDP Local Port:   55060
    - SIP Destination Port:   5060

  7. Click Submit.

  8. On the left, under the tab "Configuration", click on “Full”.
    Then, select:
    – "VoIP"
         – "Coders and Profiles"
              – "Codes"

  9. Enter the following data:
    - Select Coder name: G.711U-law
    - Packetization: 20
    - Rate: 64
    - Payload: 8
    - Silence: Disabled

  10. Click Submit.

  11. On the left, under the tab "Configuration", click on “Full”.
    Then, select:
    – "VoIP"
         – "GW and IP to IP"
              – "Hunt Group"
                   - "Endpoint Phone Number"

  12. Enter the following data:
    - Channel: 1
    - Phone Number: SIP Username
      (as provided in your activation email and in the Device Settings page of the User Portal)

  13. Click Submit.

  14. On the left, under the tab "Configuration", click on “Full”.
    Then, select:
    – "VoIP"
         – "Routing"
              – "Tel to IP Routing"

  15. Enter the following data on Src Trunk Group ID 1:
    - Dest IP Address: SIP Server
       (as provided in your activation email and in the Device Settings page of the User Portal)
    - Port: 5060
    - Transport: UDP

  16. Click Submit.

  17. On the left, under the tab "Configuration", click on “Full”.
    Then, select:
    – "VoIP"
         – "GW and IP to IP"
              – "Analog Gateway"
                   - "Authentication

  18. Enter the following data
    (as provided in your activation email and in the Device Settings page of the User Portal):
    - User Name: SIP Username
    - Password: SIP Password

  19. Click Submit.

  20. In the next window that appears click on "OK" to “burn” data into device's memory
    - Click on “Burn”.



  21. Congratulations, your done!
